Engagement of Resource Persons and Guest Speakers for Knowledge and Experience Sharing

The Rice Milling and Production Technology Training Program – Level 1 (Certificate Level) and Level 2 (Higher Certificate Level), jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and the Myanmar Rice Federation, incorporated invited Resource Persons and Guest Speakers in addition to the prescribed curriculum.

Through these sessions, participants were provided with valuable insights into the rice industry, including domestic and international market conditions, practical knowledge, professional experiences, workplace challenges, and expert recommendations. The invited speakers contributed to enriching the learning experience by sharing real-world perspectives and industry best practices.

Similarly, on 27 January 2026, at the UMFCCI, Professor Dr. Aung Tun Thet delivered a lecture to the trainees under the theme “Leadership Excellence,” further strengthening their managerial and leadership competencies.

The training program, which is being conducted for the first time under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) framework, currently has 55 trainees in attendance. As the theoretical component is nearing completion, participants will proceed to On-the-Job Training (OJT) at major rice mills to gain hands-on practical experience.
