The Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) participated in the World MSME Day 2026 Commemorative Ceremony and MSME Product Exhibition, organized by the Committee for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The event was held on 27 June 2026 at the Myanmar International Convention Centre–1 (MICC-1) in Nay Pyi Taw.
The exhibition featured a total of 149 booths, including displays from the Central Committee and Working Committees, government ministries, regional and state MSME organizations, small-scale manufacturing enterprises, business associations, and private sector organizations. A wide range of locally produced products was showcased, including food and beverages, textiles, consumer goods, traditional handicrafts, agricultural machinery and equipment, fertilizers, seeds, and various products manufactured by Myanmar’s MSMEs.
At the exhibition, the Myanmar Rice Federation presented information on the development of Myanmar’s MSME rice milling sector, value-added rice and rice-based products, and the production and future potential of rice bran oil. The exhibition highlighted the Federation’s ongoing efforts to promote innovation, value addition, and sustainable development within Myanmar’s rice industry.
The MRF exhibition booth was visited by H.E. President U Min Aung Hlaing, together with distinguished guests, who viewed the exhibits and learned about the Federation’s initiatives to strengthen the rice sector and enhance the competitiveness of Myanmar’s rice-based industries.
The Myanmar Rice Federation reaffirms its commitment to implementing the guidance and policy directions of H.E. President U Min Aung Hlaing in advancing the sustainable development, modernization, and international competitiveness of Myanmar’s rice industry through innovation, value addition, and MSME development.
